Our Clients explored the usual avenues people do when wanting to improve their home with the purchase of a new kitchen. They invited in the nationals and an advertised more local company but were unimpressed with confusing discounts and heavy handed sales pressure tactics. Their requests for a breakdown of prices and time to " think about it " were met with refusals, instead they were faced with " The sale ends tomorrow " and " The price quoted is only available today " type of pressure comments. Needless to say they showed both salesmen the door ! Full of frustration at having wasted their time they decided to start asking a few friends about their own experiences of buying a kitchen and a chance conversation brought them to us by way of one of our recent previous customers who had thoroughly recommended us. Before inviting us to their home they went to view the beautiful kitchen we had installed for their friends and were instantly
impressed. After a home design survey was completed we returned with several detailed hand drawn diagrams and provided an honest and financially transparent presentation of these. We listed a full schedule of work to be done together with timings so they knew exactly what was included and how long the project would take.
They duly placed their order feeling very secure that all points had been discussed and agreed.
In three weeks we transformed their old kitchen, utility area and kids games room into a truly superb contemporary guest and family " Life space ". The focal point of the room was a large " island unit " which included a dishwasher, wine chiller, under-mounted sink, brushed steel tap and clever cut away drawers below the sink !
A dedicated cooking zone included the latest induction hob with chimney hood extractor above, a toughened black glass splash-back behind the hob and matching black glass up-stands either side. Below the black granite work-top we even incorporated a huge pull out re-cycling rubbish bin cleverly hidden behind the unit door.
Whilst cooking, using the new multi-function oven, combination microwave oven and warming drawer we supplied, they were able to interact with their guests who were sitting eagerly at the table in the new spacious dining room area we created which also featured a huge flat screen T.V. for everyone's added entertainment.
The whole job was fully " Project Managed " from start to finish, removal and disposal of the old kitchen, removal of the old utility wall and doorway and fitting of two Rigid steel beams in the ceiling area to create the " open living space " look required, all the electrical, plumbing, plastering was completed effortlessly due to the detailed plans we had provided for our own team of tradespeople. Before the installation of the cabinets we tiled the whole floor area with lovely large gloss porcelain tiles and after the granite worktops were fitted we did the decorating as well !
All in all with a whole days cleaning and hand-over we left a really happy family with a new home environment to be proud of, it was a pleasure for us too!
